It's part of the fun of the evening and it's in support of a great cause - the continuing restoration of the CASO Station where you will be enjoying FreshFest. You will be impressed by how much has been accomplished, and perhaps inspired to bid generously at the silent auction, in support of the vision for the future of the station.
